About this project

Olunana Gardens is a garden events venue and restaurant at Koma-Kenol, hosting weddings, corporate events, birthdays, baby and bridal showers, graduations and photo shoots.

Venue enquiries are messy by nature. A caller has a date in mind, a rough headcount, an event type and a budget, and all of it arrives over the phone in no particular order. The site was built to collect that upfront, in a structured form, so the team quotes from real details instead of chasing them.

What we delivered

• Availability and booking request engine. Event date and time, event type, menu package, adult and child counts, and full guest contact details, submitted in one pass with email confirmation.
• Menu packages priced in-app. Seasonal offers and platter options presented as selectable packages, so pricing is visible before a conversation starts.
• Venue gallery. A curated visual tour of the gardens and event spaces, the deciding factor for most venue bookings.
• Restaurant section, separating dining from event hire.
• Blog and FAQs, handling the repeat questions that used to take up phone time.
• M-Pesa paybill details presented clearly for deposits and settlements.

The stack

Laravel with Livewire on a Bootstrap front end, built with Vite, with an animated hero and gallery filtering.

Outcome

Enquiries now arrive complete. The team opens an email that already contains the date, the event type, the package and the headcount, and replies with a quote rather than a list of questions.
