Neptune Healthcare - Hospital Website & Appointment Booking

About this project

Neptune Healthcare is a fully equipped hospital in Kijauri, Nyamira County, offering outpatient and inpatient care, maternity, dental, optical, laboratory and pharmacy services, with a 24-hour emergency department.

The existing site was a general-purpose WordPress theme: poor on mobile, inconsistent in branding, and slow to lead a patient to the one thing they came for, which is seeing a doctor. In a market where most patients meet a hospital on a phone screen first, that costs trust before anyone reaches the gate.

What we delivered

• Online appointment booking. A guided flow from department to doctor to date and time, with confirmation, replacing a queue of phone calls to reception.
• Service directory. Emergency and urgent care, maternity and child health, laboratory and diagnostics, dental, optical and pharmacy, each with its own page and clear entry point.
• Mobile-first patient journey. A plain-language "your first visit, step by step" walkthrough: walk in or book, see the doctor, tests if needed, leave with a plan.
• Facility gallery. Real photography of reception, wards and treatment rooms, so patients know what to expect before arriving.
• Blog and health information. A publishing surface the hospital manages itself.
• Light and dark modes, and prominent 24/7 emergency contact on every screen.

The stack

Laravel with Livewire and Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS and Vite, with structured metadata for search visibility.

Outcome

Neptune now runs a digital front desk rather than a brochure. Appointments arrive as structured records instead of phone messages, and the hospital's online presence matches the standard of care delivered in the building.
